STEM and the Science Summer School
A chance conversation led Professor Brian Cox and our Chairman Lord Andrew Mawson to create the amazing Science Summer School. Their ambitious aim is to make Britain the best place to do science and engineering, by inspiring the UK’s next generation of young scientists, engineers and inventors.
Launched in 2012 at St Paul’s Way Trust School in East London, the Science Summer School programme is expanding nationally on a year-round basis in partnership with Well North Enterprises.

Science Summer School events are now being planned for 2023/24 at St Paul’s Way Trust School, Tower Hamlets in London, Brooklands Museum in Surrey (see Latest News below), Rotherham in South Yorkshire and Ballymena in Northern Ireland.
