Catherine Barber-Brown

After years working in the finance and the health sector, Catherine is an expert in helping organisations and teams figure out what they want to do, and how to get it done.

Beginning her career as an investment banker, Catherine decided to apply her strategic prowess and powers of persuasion to roles that have a positive impact on the world, including time spent as an Interim Director for the NHS Transformation Unit, a Non Executive Director for the Stockport NHS Foundation Trust and Strategic Project Lead for the Co-operative Bank.

Catherine gets a kick out of making things fit together and making a difference in people’s lives. With Well North Enterprises, she uses her skills in galvanising groups and promoting ambitious thinking, to help teams on their development journeys and to make on-the-ground differences within communities.

As somebody who brings her positive personal values into every task she takes on, Catherine enjoys keeping herself busy and challenged. Alongside founding her own strategic change company and being a mother of two, she has also been a Governor for her children’s primary school, a member of the University of Manchester’s General Assembly and is an Ambassador for Women On Boards, a group that breaks down barriers for women pursuing careers in business.
